Hi there!

So you wanna know what I write about?

I’m currently working on a fantasy/paranormal/thriller/romance picture book about dinosaurs!

I can do that!just kidding!

That would be amazing ridiculous.

I’m in the process of editing my humorous non-fiction book, Oops Baby. That’d be me!

Oops BabyThis is also me.

Stay tuned for more on the book! I’d really like you to read it. That would totally make me smile.

Until then, here’s a teaser to pique your appetite…

Oops Baby:  A small town, midwestern girl comes of age in a town of misfits. Her mission: making pathetic look cool since 1985.

  1. Jess, I really enjoyed meeting you at the Writer’s Conference in Madison! I can tell from our brief meeting that you are super cool, dorky chick! 🙂 And I mean that in the best way! I’m glad we connected and I look forward to following your blog.

I would totally read your book! I love your mission: “making pathetic look cool since 1985.” I have my own “embracement of self” quote: “To be weird is to be normal” (http://wp.me/p3s3jW-3s)

I can so tell I am going to be want to reblog some of your stuff in the future 🙂 Also, enjoy your wedding planning and life on Pinterest! Kelly

    1. Hi Kelly! It was a pleasure meeting you too! Thanks for the compliments. I think to be weird is normal as well.

Best of luck on all your book projects! I will keep you posted on wedding adventures and my latest addiction – Pinterest. 😀

  2. Jess, I can’t wait to read your book when it comes out! A humor memoir is right up my alley, and, based on the way you seem to look at life, I bet it’s going to be hilarious. 🙂

    1. Thank you! Flattery like that motivates me to finish editing the book…and make sure I look good in it. 😉

      1. Nah, people love it when you have flaws. My muffin top has earned me many a reader. Now finish the edit (mentally telling that to myself)!

Tell me a story...
